Título: «Characterization of environmental stressors linked to submarine volcanism»

RESUMEN
My work is focused on Tagoro, which is one of the few submarine volcanoes that is both shallow and located in an intraplate area. Here I’m estimating different parameters measured directly from the vents, such as heat fluxes, hydrothermal flow rates, nutrients fluxes (silicates, phosphates, nitrates, ammonium) and also how they are spatially distributed in the active area. Additionally, I will also focus on the characterization of another submarine volcano located in the Columbretes Archipelago. In this area, the physical-chemical anomalies from the water column will be characterized. All in all, this work will provide extensive information and implement the knowledge of hydrothermal fluxes that are determining the environmental properties of the nearby ecosystems.
